As a follow-up to the popularly pure GT3 Touring of the 991.2 generation, Porsche is offering a Touring package on its latest evolution of the 911 GT3 as well. The most notable addition—or, subtraction—is the rear wing which is replaced by a flush rear spoiler that deploys at speed to generate necessary downforce, but otherwise lies flat for an uninterrupted silhouette reminiscent of decades of 911s.

The Porsche 911 is a lot of things to a lot of people: it’s a racer, a cruiser, a weekend toy or an everyday thrill ride. But what each variant shares is a core commitment to being a dynamic drivers’ car.

 

As the platform has evolved, so has the approach to achieving the soul of a 911. This has resulted in a faster, more comfortable and more advanced product, but Porsche has proven that they can still dial in excitement in the simplest of ways. Sometimes, it just takes a naturally-aspirated flat-six and a manual gearbox.
